Welcome to Reiki Essentials & Wellness

Reiki Essentials & Wellness, LLC. studio and Firefly Gift shop. I am always asked how I started my Reiki journey. After a lifetime of caring for small animals, then friends in distress, and then family members at the end of their life journey, Reiki was the next step in my journey. My Mother-in-Law was diagnosed with various cancers when she told me about a Reiki volunteer giving her a foot massage. I immediately wanted to be the one to be able to do that for her. Unable to do that for my beloved Mother-in-Law, I decided to volunteer for Hospice. I wanted to give back to the Hospice community as they had so generously given to my family with my Maternal Gramma, and again for my Mother-in-Law. Recently, I had a logo designed for the gift shop area in honor of my Momma. I named the gift shop area, Firefly Giftshop in her honor.

Now, about you. Your journey has brought you here for a reason! We are committed to empowering you on your journey. If you have questions about Reiki, Acupressure, the spiritual, the metaphysical, or Love Languages, we can help you. You may come to the Studio looking for answers. Quite often people say they found us "by accident." There are no accidents on your journey. You were brought to Reiki Essentials as an answer to your heart.

Maybe you need answers about your intuition. Maybe you are looking for ways to trust and empower your intuition. We can help you with that Chakra. If you are seeking ways to relax and de-stress, we can assist you with that as well. Stress is responsible for anxieties, obesity, sleepless nights, headaches, muscle tension, heart disease, and more!

If you are interested in an education as a Reiki Practitioner, you've also come to the right place. I have developed a thorough program for my students. If you wish to learn more about this great healing modality and healing system, Reiki Essentials & Wellness might be the place for you. As one of my students and Practitioners, you are nurtured, and encouraged on your journey. My classes are relaxed yet detailed. We take our time, over an entire month, to learn the history, the details and feel the energy. After your certification, your education with Reiki Essentials & Wellness continues through my Practitioner Nurturing program. You will continue to grow spiritually and mentally, having many questions as we continue our journey. We meet regularly with other Reiki Essentials & Wellness Practitioners to learn and encourage one another. No matter what your intentions are for your Reiki journey, you will be supported and nurtured on your journey. If you wish to continue your journey as a Reiki Master, we have a beautiful program for that as well!

We will be closed Dec. 23rd through Jan. 4th for holiday break.

Due to medical reasons, the hours at the Studio will be extremely limited between Sunday, Jan. 5th through Friday, Jan. 15th.

I will tweak the hours again, after my medical leave.

We've Expanded!

This was the treatment room! If you go to our Facebook Page, you can see a few video clips of how cozy the treatment room is now.

We've expanded into the other side! Body Logic moved to a new location and I expanded into both sides!
We needed to do some simple remodeling to make it our own.

I varanished my door. Actually, this is the second door I varnished because the first one didn't work out for the opening.

Now that I have the song stuck in your head... Everyone, this is Sammy! I rescued Sammy on December 14th - just before my birthday.
He isn't for sale. Also, Sammy just visits the Studio. He doesn't live there.

Long Overdue Update

First off - our hours! Right now we are open by appointment only due to the street construction in front of the Studio.

Even if you want to just browse our gift shop area, please contact us to schedule an appointment. I received a phone call today from someone wanting to browse the shop and had driven about an hour, only to discover that we weren't open. (I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience to you!) Construction is slated to be completed by the end of November - we are hoping for it to be completed sooner, especially during the holiday season!

Summer Hours and Events

It seems we are always tweaking the hours a tiny bit. It's a balance between saving money, meeting the needs of my clients and juggling a full-time job along side the Studio.

For now, the hours for the Studio are as follows:

Sunday Closed
Monday 2-7:30
Tuesday 2-7:30
Wednesday 4:30-7:30
Thursday 2-5:30 and appointments.
Friday Reserved for appointments.
Saturday 11-4

Please note that the hours will change up a bit again in October to accommodate for the holiday season.

The second Sunday of the month we host Reiki Shares from 12:30-3p.m.

The second or sometimes the third Wednesday evening we host a free World Peace Meditation night from 6-7p.m. The date changes as the organization decides. I post the dates as far in advance as possible. Please check our Facebook page for the final schedule of events.

The last Thursday and Saturday of the month the Studio is closed for hospice appointments.
