Welcome to Reiki Essentials & Wellness

Reiki Essentials & Wellness, LLC. studio and Firefly Gift shop. I am always asked how I started my Reiki journey. After a lifetime of caring for small animals, then friends in distress, and then family members at the end of their life journey, Reiki was the next step in my journey. My Mother-in-Law was diagnosed with various cancers when she told me about a Reiki volunteer giving her a foot massage. I immediately wanted to be the one to be able to do that for her. Unable to do that for my beloved Mother-in-Law, I decided to volunteer for Hospice. I wanted to give back to the Hospice community as they had so generously given to my family with my Maternal Gramma, and again for my Mother-in-Law. Recently, I had a logo designed for the gift shop area in honor of my Momma. I named the gift shop area, Firefly Giftshop in her honor.

Now, about you. Your journey has brought you here for a reason! We are committed to empowering you on your journey. If you have questions about Reiki, Acupressure, the spiritual, the metaphysical, or Love Languages, we can help you. You may come to the Studio looking for answers. Quite often people say they found us "by accident." There are no accidents on your journey. You were brought to Reiki Essentials as an answer to your heart.

Maybe you need answers about your intuition. Maybe you are looking for ways to trust and empower your intuition. We can help you with that Chakra. If you are seeking ways to relax and de-stress, we can assist you with that as well. Stress is responsible for anxieties, obesity, sleepless nights, headaches, muscle tension, heart disease, and more!

If you are interested in an education as a Reiki Practitioner, you've also come to the right place. I have developed a thorough program for my students. If you wish to learn more about this great healing modality and healing system, Reiki Essentials & Wellness might be the place for you. As one of my students and Practitioners, you are nurtured, and encouraged on your journey. My classes are relaxed yet detailed. We take our time, over an entire month, to learn the history, the details and feel the energy. After your certification, your education with Reiki Essentials & Wellness continues through my Practitioner Nurturing program. You will continue to grow spiritually and mentally, having many questions as we continue our journey. We meet regularly with other Reiki Essentials & Wellness Practitioners to learn and encourage one another. No matter what your intentions are for your Reiki journey, you will be supported and nurtured on your journey. If you wish to continue your journey as a Reiki Master, we have a beautiful program for that as well!

Safer At Home, Working From Home, Reiki From Home

Which phrase is the most unfamiliar? Reiki from home! Many of my clients struggle with "reiki from home" when they want so desperately that personal touch factor. My clients are "huggers" and staying at home without their outside contacts is a challenge.

Recently, the Reiki organization I am associated with has embraced the online modalilty of Reiki. I have done Distant Reiki and my clients have had great responses.

Up until the recent Covid-19 challenges, my organization wasn't so sure on TEACHING Reiki virtually.

Many Reiki Practitioners and Masters agreed that this was something that needed to be done face-to-face. The recent challenges of the virus have changed the minds of the organization leaders/founders. I'm still not sure how I feel about TEACHING Reiki online, but I do know, for sure and certain, that Reiki treatments - Distant Reiki - works!

My Distant Reiki Sessions are done a variety of ways. We can use Zoom on a private link, although I prefer to use Facebook Messenger. When using Messenger, I can send audio clips, links to mediation videos and we can chat back and forth if you wish. I keep a detailed diagram of a body outline so I can give you a copy of where I administered Reiki and any notes that I took during our session. I have also pulled Tarot cards to guide the client, if asked. Sessions take about 45-60 minutes. Session are $30 each or three sessions for $60. New Student Interviews

When investing in your spiritual future, compatibility is something you should always keep in mind.

You may find that you have questions about the Usui lineage or you may come to me wanting to further your Reiki journey, but you come from a different lineage. We can discuss lineage and history at your New Student Interview - along with anything else you would like to talk about.

We will have a question and answer time and a Reiki Share between the two of us so that I may learn your energy and you may learn mine. I will ask you to share what you know. Please bring along any books and certificates that you have already been given.

During the New Student Interview, we go through the class program and all that I have to offer you as a Reiki Essentials & Wellness student and Practitioner. We can also talk about tuition and all that is included with your tuition. My Reiki 1&2 Journey program is detailed and includes more than just the Reiki you will need! My students are equipped with more than one healing modality and enough supplies to get you started immediately. The only thing not included in your tuition is a massage table!

I make it my mission to make sure that my students are comfortable in their own "Reiki Skin." I encourage, empower, and continue to support you on your personal journey. Your experiences at Reiki Essentials & Wellness should bring a sense of calm in the chaos of life. We are a sanctuary for your spirit. All that is said and done at the Studio is held in the utmost of confidence. No gossip or drama, you can trust in that. We want our students as physically healthy as they can be; along with as spiritually healthy as they can be.
