Nov. 9, 2023 Slow Days

When days are slow,  we use the extra time to get little things done.  Putzy things like organizing the heavily used areas, etc.

We were pretty slow today, and we decided to close up a tiny bit early.  We went shopping for supplies! Which is always fun.

If you tried to visit our cozy shop tonight, but missed us, we truly apologize and hope you can visit again soon. 

Business Meeting!

10/24/2023 - We will be closing at 5:30pm today for a business meeting! We will reopen tomorrow morning at 10am.

Business meetings don't happen too often, but we like to get this one in before the holiday craziness descends! I try to make the meetings fun though and there is always food involved! Tonight it's tacos!

So, we will see you Wednesday! There is knitting at 10am, meditation at 6pm and fun through the entire day!

New Hours

 

Do NOT touch the bells!

 Customers come in and some of them make the bell on the door jingle LOUDLY. Others hear the bell and try to shush the bell.

Let me be clear. Touching the bell to stop the ringing is not a good thing! House Sprites get involved. The Fae that hang out get involved. Then the ghosties are disturbed and awaken. Everyone causes mischief and chaos!

Tyra comes out and starts talking and pointing to the ceiling. She gets on her "Mom Voice" and then everyone is like, "Crap!" Because NOW.... Benny has to come out of his! He started scolding everyone, including Tyra!

The struggle is real.

That whole phrase, "Fuck around and find out." No. Not here. Just, NO.

Do not test your disbelief in our shop. Please.

Clothing now available!

Last summer we saw a need for clothing items to be added to the gift shop. This year, we added a small collection of NEW and gently used clothing items! We just received our cute bamboo clothing rack and filled it up right away with items. Whether new or gently used, all items are only $2.oo each. Pop in to check out all of newly added items!

Beltane Spring Celebration today! Ap. 29th, 2023

We are all excited for our 2023 Beltane Spring Celebration tomorrow! We really hope you all can make it in to see everything we have done up special for the day. We are utilizing the ENTIRE Wellness center! All doors will be open for you! 321 E. Main St., 2 S. Madison St., and 6 S. Madison St. will all  have vendors, artists, or Practitioners within.

For this celebration, we feature our Practitioners, vendors, and artists. This gives you the chance to personally meet the creators behind some of the beautiful items we sell at the gift shop! You can see first hand, that we are not an Amazon warehouse, but we are real people that live near you!

Tomorrow we are also featuring Laurie Uhlers of  Bee Well Therapeutic Massage and Wellness  . Laurie and Tyra Lee  share space to help bring complimentary healing modalities to our Wellness Center for a beautiful well-rounded healing experience.

We also are blessed to have Kim Riese of Open Heart Reiki out of Oshkosh. Kim is a Reiki classmate of Tyra's and together they bring unique healing programs to Reiki Essentials & Firefly Gifts . Tomorrow,  Kim will be using her tuning forks to heal various layers in your body's auric field.

THIS Saturday, Ap. 29th, 10-4pm, be sure to pop into the ENTIRE Reiki Center to find package deals, door prizes, readings by local intuitive Tarot Practitioners, a Medium, mini sessions for Reiki, massage, and TUNING FORKS (very interesting!!)

You won't want to miss out on our 7th Spring Celebration - we just keep getting better!

We have several talented artists on hand for our Beltane Spring Celebration! Next up is Mira! An art student from Waupun, she attends UW-Oshkosh.  Mira will be with us tomorrow, Sat., Ap. 29th, sharing her talents as a commission cartoon artist. She has previously done pet portraits and has added caricatures to her talents! When you visit us tomorrow, be sure to spend time with Mira to have a drawing done.  Please do not bring your pets to the event, a clear picture from your phone will suffice. Remember, she is an art student, so please be generous with your tips to her!! ❤️😉❤️

During our Beltane Spring Celebration tomorrow, we have relaxing, live music by Becky Kappell of Serenity Ignited ! Becky is a certified Master Music Practitioner and will keep the beautiful energy flowing throughout the day. 

We have a beautiful day planned tomorrow from 10-4pm, be sure to come see everyone!

Each vendor will set their own prices. Most services will be between $10-$15, or will be accepting donations and tips.

Please consider bringing cash for each vendor, as their money is their own.

Keeping our prices the same!

With costs rising all around us, we have decided to stand strong in our decision to not raise our prices for services and for most of our inventory.

We keep our costs low everywhere possible by recycling things like bubblewrap, bags of all kinds, tissue paper, craft supplies, packaging, and even boxes. We even shop local thrift stores to find packaging items we can recycle. If you have any of those items, keep us in mind! Clean items only, non-smoking environments, any season/themes welcome!

Tyra isn't taking on a raise in her pricing for services like Reiki, Spirit Side Connections, Reflexology, or Access Bars. Instead, she is willing to consider a swap for a portion of the cost. Just reach out to see how she can assist you. Homemade chicken potpie guide a long way!! 

Many of our tumbled stones are still $3 each or x-amount for $1 for many specimens. We now have our own tumbler and hope to keep costs low this way too. We were surprised to see which specimens had a price increase (or not) or total non-availability due to global issues. Unfortunately, specimens like moldavite or charoite have increased in pricing and availability. We make adjustments where we can, so you can keep collecting pretty rocks.

Many classes remain between $25-$30 a session and are still a great deal for your investment. Reiki class prices have not increased. There are many pricing options if you have a journey as a Practitioner. You will not find a more thorough Reiki class for our price points anywhere. Ours is better, just because it's Tyra's creation!! This is her heart & soul!

We have bundled packages, punch cards, loyalty point programs, online shopping (still tweaking), a lay-away option, small freebies at checkouts, free smiles, and caring conversations over a cup of our Houseblend tea if you need.

We are doing our part to create a world we can love living in. ❤️ Please shop local and love on our small business too.

Destination Lake Winnebago Region Visitors Bureau created a beautiful video of the Reiki Center and gift shop! I am over the moon with joy!

They were with us for a long time and we had to re-record several phrases. At one point I cried,  the giggles settled in and I dropped the f-bomb!

We had loads of fun.

Massage Therapy now available!

We have recently added a Massage Therapist to our wellness center! We are so excited to be able to expand and offer another healing modality. Stay tuned for a more detailed bio on our LMT in the future. She is currently accepting appointments at the Wellness Center. Her door is located at 6 S. Madison St., Waupun, Wisconsin.

2023, Feb. 22 Vlog Update, Vlog #70

Expansion News!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to expand the giftshop. Moving was amazing. Nine friends gathered and had everything moved in 57 minutes. It was crazy! We were able to move in a weekend and only had to stay closed for one day.

With moving comes the fun part of finding everything, finding a place for everything, and then finding things we had packed away! It was like gemstone Yuletide/Christmas! But, also with moving is remembering if we brought a specific item over to the new side, or kept it at the original side. Day-by-day things are found.

So, come on in to the newly expanded giftshop! We are located at 321 E. Main Street, which is conveniently located right next to our original door at 2 S. Madison Street.

Magical Mystic Swaps

Magical Mystic Swap - starting soon!!

We are so excited to begin monthly swaps! This fun idea came through an email for penpal ideas.

Swaps should be put together and mailed once a month. 

Swaps are to be around $20 in value.

Items can be handmade, bought new, up-cycled.

Candles, books, spells, handcrafted, embroidery or other fiber arts, a painting, jewelry, trinkets, felted creatures, ornaments, stones, oils, incense, tea, coffee, cocoa, herbs, or chocolates!! ANYTHING!

Swap packages need to also contain a letter. Letters can be about the items, a poem, a shared spell, etc.

Some months will have a theme, other months will be Magical and Mystic!

No money exchange, but you will have to pay postage, so please stay close to the $20 range. Packages can be swapped at the shop if that's easier. 

Let Tyra know if you are down for a swap and she will mix up the names for the swap and then let all participants know who they have.

March will be our first swap. March names and mailing information is due by February 20th for the March swap. 

Packages need to be sent by the 25th.

March theme: Witchy, birds, BOS, fire related (fire related: bay leaf, paper, candle, photo/pic of fire, poem about fire, candle magic would count too!)

Firefly Chats are back!

Firefly Chats are back! And we will have a wide array of topics! Sometimes metaphysical, spiritual, and always fun. We talk about ghosts, witchy things, Earth chakras, herbs, and so much more. We may have a theme, ideas, or a thought provoking prompt.

We are so happy to announce that we have expanded the gift shop area into the space right NEXT DOOR to our original gift shop! 

We still have the original space, but we now use that for a classroom area; and the meditation & treatment rooms remain the same beautiful, cozy spaces that they always were.

When you visit the newly expanded gift shop area, you can use the front door at 321 E. Main Street or you can use the side door on Madison Street.

Gift shop hours remain Monday throuigh Friday, Noon to 6pm and Saturdays 10 to 4pm. So, come on in, we love to see you!
