Cancellation Policy: At Reiki Essentials & Wellness, LLC, we understand that unexpected events happen occasionally in life. Emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, unknown infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advanced notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather/illness/emergency and we ask you to do the same. Late cancellation due to an emergency, same day illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charged, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis. In the desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies must be honored.
24 hour Advance Notice Policy: 24 hours are required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged the 50% of the service fee for the first missed session and 100% of the service fee for each session after that. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment - NO exceptions.
No-Shows Policy: Anyone who forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment and does not contact us, will be considered a "no call/no-show." These will be charged 100% for the missed appointment. This amount will be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. NO exceptions.
Late Arrivals Policy: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. How late you arrive will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you may be responsible for payment of the "full" session. Out of respect and consideration to myself and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy: Reiki, Acupressure, and Access Bars, etc. are for relaxation and therapeutic purposes ONLY. There is absolutely NO sexual component to treatments whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat your Practitioner with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
