Monday Night Meditations - Now once a month!

For awhile, our meditation nights were so full, we had to schedule a second evening. Then, fluctuations in schedules of everyone that attended made us decide to go back down to once a week.

Things change, people move, work schedules interfere with life, and in our case, a person passed over. Attendance was dwindling again. Another decision needed to be made. We chose to keep meditation, but just once a month. 

I really like to take time to quiet my mind and I'm not ready to completely end our meditation programming. However, it is so easy to say, "Oh, I can't tonight, but I can go next week." When next week arrives, so does a distraction. At 9pm, one could say, "Oh, I totally got busy and forgot, but I can go next week." Before you know it, 18-thousand weeks have gone by, and you haven't taken time to quiet your mind at all!

Once a month it is!

Feel free to join us, on the first Monday of the month - (excluding holidays, we will meet the next Monday in those situations.) We still meet at 6pm, and the cost is still $10. We hope you can make one of the dates listed below. We'd love to see you!

Aug. 5th, Sept. 9th, Oct. 7th, Nov. 4th, and Dec. 2nd.

Firefly Chat Night Soup Supper Potlucks!

Our Firefly Chat events are going to get even better! During the cooler months, we will be incorporating a Soup Supper Potluck! We are such a great group of people - I'd love to chat over food with you!

Beginning in September and running at least through December, but probable January & February too, everyone in attendance will need to bring a kettle of soup to share with the group. These will require an RSVP, but will still be free to attend.

Witchy Wednesdays Coming UP!

 Many people ask what I know about witchcraft, Wicca, the occult, mystical arts, the Fae, ghosts, and more. We decided to host workshop times for all of that. There are things I know on a deep level and some things we will learn together!

Join in the interesting adventures of folklore, history, mystery, and magic of the metaphysical and natural world. Discover the wisdom from the days of our ancestors with a twist of Asian, Norse, Pagan, and Scandanavian.

World Day of Tarot is today! May 25, 2024

I often wonder what my Momma would think of how my small business is doing. I'm sure she would be proud of me. But, on days like today - World Day of Tarot, would she come in and have me read her?! hahaha that would make me nervous. I haven't done a reading for my Mom since I was a teenager!

One thing that I keep repeating is that Tarot layouts do not foretell any specific future events and we cannot summon those that have passed on through the veil.

Oh, but on days like today, I think of my Mom and I wish I could reach her.

World Week of Tarot 2024

We are participating in the World Week of Tarot this week! We have Tarot goodie bags to try to win every day this week - Monday through Saturday. 

Also, part of our celebration includes compliment Tarot readings, fun videos (as I'm able), and mini-workshops on Saturday.

The Eve Before An Event

On the eve before events, I take time for a cuppa yummy tea. Time to slow down for just a few moments. Trying to NOT think about being late or rushing. Or, not thinking of all of the many things I want to accomplish before things are going.

It is always smooth. I have a great team.

Right now, I'm in my home Studio. The birds are singing and my tea is cooling slightly. It's a blend I created, although it isn't an original creation. I once tried a cuppa tea and the recipe was a family secret. I asked many questions and drank many cups before I came up with this blend. The breakthrough happened by accident when a tea drinking friend made me an English cuppa! It was breath taking! And, it was the missing flavor I was looking for.

Tonight, the City is hosting a Wine Walk. We are a water stop for everyone. A buck ($1) a bottle! Good deal! We set out cozy seating, candles, and twinkle lights. I love it!

Then, it's hurry up, clean up, and get ready for our Beltane event. If you come dressed in a Star Wars theme, you'll receive a discount!
